Tickets for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art went on sale Tuesday morning, giving visitors their first chance to book a spot at the museum before it opens September 22 in Los Angeles. The museum costs $25 for adults, $21 for seniors 65 and older, and is free for anyone 17 and younger.
More than 1,200 works of art will be displayed across 100,000 square feet of gallery space when the doors open. The museum is located at One Lucas Plaza in Exposition Park, and tickets are available now through the museum's website for visits between September 22 and February 28, 2027.

Lucas said he refuses to sell his collection, and he's not like typical high art collectors who buy something beautiful and then sell it five years later for a profit. That's not what he thinks art is. So instead of selling, he built a museum to share everything he's collected over half a century.
The museum focuses on narrative art, which means art that tells stories. That includes everything from fine art paintings to film props to illustrations, and the collection reflects Lucas's own interests and career as a filmmaker and storyteller.
Star Wars and Everything Else
Star Wars in Motion will obviously be a huge draw for film fans who grew up with the franchise, but the museum is showcasing more than a dozen exhibitions at opening.
