Disneyland Introduces $71 Tickets Exclusively for Anaheim Residents

The new local ticket offer includes discounted admission to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure through October 8.

Disneyland Resort is giving its closest neighbors a major discount this summer and fall.

Anaheim residents will soon be able to purchase a one day ticket to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure for as little as $71. Tickets go on sale July 16 and can be used for visits from July 20 through October 8, 2026.

The offer is available to guests ages 10 and older who live within eligible Anaheim ZIP codes. A one park ticket costs $71, while a Park Hopper ticket that includes admission to both theme parks on the same day costs $104.

Children ages 3 through 9 receive an even bigger discount. A one park ticket costs $50, and Disney is offering the Park Hopper option for the same $50 price. That means families using the offer will not have to pay an additional Park Hopper charge for eligible children.

The discounted tickets arrive just before Disneyland begins its annual Halloween celebrations.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure begin August 21. Guests visiting during the later portion of the ticket window will be able to see seasonal decorations, entertainment, food, character costumes, and attraction transformations across both parks.

Disneyland Park will once again feature Haunted Mansion Holiday, which transforms the classic attraction with characters and scenes inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

At Disney California Adventure, Cars Land becomes Radiator Screams with Halloween decorations and seasonal versions of several attractions. Guardians of the Galaxy Monsters After Dark also returns with a nighttime mission featuring the Guardians and a group of escaped creatures.

Plaza de la Familia will celebrate Día de los Muertos and the themes of Disney and Pixar’s Coco. The event will include colorful decorations, food, music, and experiences focused on family memories and traditions.

The Anaheim resident ticket does not include admission to Oogie Boogie Bash, which is a separately ticketed event held at Disney California Adventure. Guests who want to attend the Halloween party will need to purchase a separate event ticket. Disney states that the Anaheim offer excludes activities and events that are priced separately.

Theme park reservations are required in addition to valid admission. Guests should check reservation availability before completing their purchase because a ticket alone does not guarantee entry on a specific date.

Disney also notes that reservation availability can change until the selection is finalized. Guests must have a reservation and a valid ticket for the same park on the same date.

The offer is limited to residents living within eligible Anaheim ZIP codes. Those ZIP codes include 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850, and 92899.

Proof of residency will be required for both purchasing and using the tickets. Eligible guests must present a valid government issued photo identification card showing an approved Anaheim address.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be added for an additional fee. Eligible adults can also upgrade from the one park ticket to the Park Hopper option when purchasing admission.

The $71 price is considerably lower than Disneyland’s standard summer admission. Disney recently listed its lowest adult one day, one park ticket price during much of July at $149, although standard ticket prices continue to vary based on the selected date.

The timing also gives locals several different ways to use the offer. Guests can visit during the final weeks of summer, return as Disneyland begins decorating for fall, or schedule their day after Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia begin in August.

The special Anaheim resident tickets go on sale July 16 and remain valid for one visit through October 8, subject to theme park reservation availability.
