Disneyland Resort Has New Blind Boxes With Holiday Stitch, Anime Princesses and Tiny Park Icons
Three new mystery figure lines are on shelves at Downtown Disney, with prices from $14.99 to $22.99 and six figures in every set.
Disneyland Resort has rolled out a fresh batch of blind boxes, and there is a lot to love. You can chase Stitch in holiday costumes, anime versions of Disney Princesses and Villains, or tiny designs of famous park icons.
Prices run from $14.99 to $22.99 depending on the box. Discounts do not apply, and there are no refunds, exchanges, or returns, so you are fully committing to the surprise.
We found all three at Disney Storyland Boutique in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort. The shop recently put up a new sign for the holiday season, so look for that when you go.
Enesco Holiday Stitch Dress Up Mystery Figures, $22.99
This is the priciest of the three, and it is a mash-up of holidays. Some sides of the box show white snowflakes on a red background, while others have black bats and pumpkins on orange.
Every box has an equal chance of holding one of six figures. The Stitch lineup covers both Halloween and Christmas:
Stitch in a pumpkin costume and a witch hat. Stitch in a spider costume. Stitch in a skeleton hoodie. Stitch as a Christmas tree. Stitch in a gingerbread man outfit. Stitch as Santa Claus.
The Stitch figures are plastic, but the costumes are made from soft fabric with embroidered details. That makes them feel a little extra special for the price.
Anime Disney Princesses and Villains Mystery Figures, $19.99
This aqua box is covered in purple anime inspired details and comic panels. Again there is an equal chance at each of six figures, mixing Princesses and Villains. The lineup includes Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Gaston, Ursula and Lady Tremaine.
A clear display case nearby shows all six options, so you know exactly who you are hoping for. Every figure comes in a frame inspired by a film strip. Beauty and the Beast figures get a yellow frame, The Little Mermaid figures get purple, and Cinderella figures get pink.
Park Icon Cuties Mystery Figures, $14.99
The most affordable box is decorated with grassy hills and a blue sky dotted with stars and clouds. Inside are cutesy versions of six park icons, again with equal odds for each.
The set includes Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Over on the West Coast side, you can score Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland and Pixar Pal-A-Round at Disney California Adventure.
A display case nearby shows every variation. Some of the figures also have metallic paint details, which should make them pop on a shelf.
More to know
The Stitch and Disney Princess figures, along with the Park Cuties, can also be found at Walt Disney World. So if you are headed to Florida instead, you can still go hunting.
Another holiday blind box recently debuted at Disneyland Resort too. It features Santa Pooh, Simba with a wreath, and more characters.
