Evil Dead Burn Is Coming to Halloween Horror Nights This Year

The legendary horror franchise is returning to Halloween Horror Nights with a brand new haunted house inspired by Evil Dead Burn, taking guests deep into a secluded cabin where Deadites are waiting around every corner.

The Book of the Dead has been opened once again.

Universal has officially announced that Evil Dead Burn is coming to Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, bringing one of horror’s bloodiest franchises back to the event. The haunted house is inspired by the upcoming film Evil Dead Burn, the latest chapter in the iconic series that began more than four decades ago.

First introduced in 1981, The Evil Dead quickly became a cult classic before growing into one of horror’s most recognizable franchises. Known for its over the top gore, dark humor, and terrifying Deadites, every story revolves around the Book of the Dead, an ancient text capable of unleashing demonic forces that possess anyone unfortunate enough to cross its path.

According to Universal, this year’s haunted house will place guests inside the terrifying events of Evil Dead Burn. The experience begins at the Price family’s secluded vacation home deep in the woods before the evil quickly spreads throughout the house. As visitors make their way through the attraction, they’ll come face to face with horrifying Deadites and gruesome scenes pulled directly from the film before becoming victims of the supernatural forces themselves.

The Evil Dead franchise has a long history with Halloween Horror Nights, making this one of the event’s most anticipated announcements. Previous Evil Dead houses have become fan favorites thanks to their intense scares, detailed sets, gallons of fake blood, and unforgettable creature effects. With Evil Dead Burn introducing a brand new story, this year’s maze also gives Universal’s creative team the opportunity to bring never before seen locations and monsters to life.

As Halloween Horror Nights continues revealing its 2026 lineup, Evil Dead Burn adds another major horror franchise to an already impressive roster. If Universal stays true to the franchise’s reputation, guests should expect one of the bloodiest and most intense haunted houses of the season.
