Universal Announces Epic Universe After Hours Event With Unlimited Snacks
Universal Nights at Epic Universe will give guests three hours of limited capacity access to all five worlds on two nights this October.
Universal Orlando Resort is giving guests a new way to explore Epic Universe after the park closes for the night.
Universal Nights at Epic Universe will take place on October 3 and October 17, 2026. The limited capacity event will run from 9 p.m. until midnight and requires a separate event ticket.

According to Universal, all attractions and experiences across Epic Universe will remain open during the event. That means guests will have access to Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic.
With attendance limited, Universal Nights could give guests an opportunity to experience the park with smaller crowds than they would normally encounter during regular operating hours. Universal has not announced an exact attendance limit or provided details about expected wait times.
The event will also include character appearances throughout the park. Universal has not yet revealed which characters will be available, but Epic Universe regularly features characters connected to Nintendo, Universal Monsters, How to Train Your Dragon, and the Wizarding World.

Admission includes unlimited snacks, with Universal currently highlighting berry flavored Celestial Popcorn and crispy Kimchi Bao from Celestial Park. Guests will also receive a cup that can be used for Coca Cola Freestyle refills during the event.
Universal has not released the full list of included snacks, participating dining locations, or any limits that may apply. More details are expected before tickets go on sale.
Tickets will start at $179 per person, plus tax, for guests ages 3 and older. Tickets are sold separately for each event night and will become available on August 13.
Universal Orlando Annual Passholders and Seasonal Passholders will receive a 10 percent discount on up to six event tickets. Premier Passholders can also save 15 percent on food and merchandise during the event, while Preferred Passholders can save 10 percent.

The announcement arrives as Universal continues expanding the nighttime offerings available at Epic Universe. The park recently introduced additional nighttime entertainment that uses fountains, lighting, projections, and effects across its themed worlds. Official photography released by Universal shows Celestial Park and the other lands illuminated after dark.
Epic Universe is divided into five worlds connected through Celestial Park.
Super Nintendo World includes Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge and Mine Cart Madness. Dark Universe is home to Monsters Unchained The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf. Isle of Berk features attractions and entertainment inspired by How to Train Your Dragon, while the Wizarding World brings guests into 1920s Paris and the British Ministry of Magic.
The three hour schedule makes Universal Nights a shorter experience than a full day at Epic Universe. However, unlimited snacks, beverage refills, character appearances, and reduced attendance could make it appealing to guests who want to focus on attractions without committing to another full park day.

Universal has not announced whether Universal Nights will return after the two October dates. For now, the event appears to be a limited test with only two evenings scheduled.
Universal Nights at Epic Universe will take place on October 3 and October 17, 2026. Tickets start at $179 plus tax and go on sale August 13.
