Disney and Macy's Drop a 100th Parade Collection Packed With Balloon Art, Loungefly Backpacks and Denim
The 2026 holiday lineup celebrates a century of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, with the new Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey balloon leading the way.
Disney and Macy's just revealed their 2026 holiday collection, and it is a love letter to the balloons. This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the 100th march, and the new lineup celebrates with apparel, accessories and collectibles inspired by Disney balloons through the years.
Some pieces are already live. Select items are on macys.com today, and the full collection is headed to select Macy's stores nationwide later this fall.
The big star is the brand new Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey balloon, which makes its parade debut this year. Around him, the artwork pulls in Disney characters from parades past and present, so every design feels like a little trip through time.
Unlike past years, the art does not lean on New York City landmarks. The city is still the backdrop, since the parade has marched through it since the very first one in 1924. This time the focus is Disney's long history with Macy's, told through balloons.
Mickey and friends are not the only balloon characters here. Spider-Man and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story show up too, which makes the collection feel like a full parade lineup on your shopping list.
Pins, backpacks and ears
Pin traders get a treat first. Loungefly has a four piece Mickey Parade Balloons Through The Years pin set that shows Mickey's balloons from different eras. You can also grab single pins of the Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man balloons.
Loungefly's Mini Backpacks get balloon makeovers too. They are styled after Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man. A Mini Backpack Bag Charm adds an extra accent, and there is an Interchangeable Mickey Parade Balloons Through The Years Ears Headband to match.
Crocs joins in with a Medium Tote Bag exclusive to Macy's. It has fluffy blue clouds floating across it, and you can load it up with Jibbitz featuring every Disney character that has ever appeared as a parade balloon. There is also a Jibbitz of the Macy's 100th Parade star logo.
Ornaments and kids' picks
Hallmark has blown glass balloon ornaments, and they are tailor made for anyone who gifts ornaments to mark the year. The Mickey Parade Balloons Through The Years Ornament Set shows his famous balloon appearances, including Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey and Bandleader Mickey. Other ornaments feature Spider-Man and Buzz Lightyear.
Toy Story fans in the family can look to the Toddler and Little Boys' Buzz Lightyear Hoodie, which comes in sizes 2T to 7. It is a fun pick for kids who loved the new Toy Story film earlier this year.
The denim lineup
Denim looks like the breakout category. The jackets have a light wash and a corduroy collar, with balloons from different eras floating across them. You will spot four versions of Mickey, plus Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse.
The jackets come in kids' sizes, so the whole family can coordinate. To go all in, there are wide leg denim pants for kids and adults covered in Mickey and friends, along with an asymmetrical mini skort.
Prefer to mix and match? The collection also has plenty of long sleeve tees, T-shirts and sweatshirts to layer under or over the denim.
Accessories and stationery
The finishing touches are well covered. The Mickey & Friends Parade Balloons Square Twill Scarf is covered in Mickey balloons, and you can tie it onto a bag, around your neck or in your hair.
For hats, there is a denim Kids' Mickey Mouse Ears Adjustable Baseball Cap with the ears attached, plus a Mickey Mouse Balloon Adjustable Snapback Mesh Trucker Hat.

The March to Macy's assortment
A separate group called March to Macy's goes for a vintage feel with comic book inspired character art. The designs show Mickey and friends heading to the big parade, ready for a day of fun as they stroll the streets of New York.
One standout is the Women's Minnie Mouse Crop T-Shirt, a rich red with a cropped, boxy fit. The assortment also includes jackets and hoodies.
Citizen and Swarovski are also part of the brand lineup, alongside Crocs, Hallmark and Loungefly. With a century of parade history behind it, this collection is a good excuse to start your holiday shopping early.
