Disney Believe's Skygazers Pub Hides a Disney Zodiac in Its Concept Art, and Simba Is a Leo

The new observatory style pub on Disney Cruise Line's next ship turns the 12 signs into a character hunt, with Tinker Bell, Nemo and the Tweedles in the mix.

Simba is a Leo, Joy is a Libra and Tinker Bell might just be a Scorpio. Disney Believe's new Skygazers Pub has a celestial surprise tucked into its concept art, with familiar Disney and Pixar characters standing in for the 12 signs of the zodiac.

The pub was revealed along with the ship on October 7, 2026, and it is a cozy, observatory inspired hangout. Think celestial decor, hidden character references and a menu of specialty drinks and light bites. Here is what we spotted when we studied the art.

A quick note before we dive in. The character lineup below is our own read of the artwork, not an official list from Disney. Some picks are backed by obvious symbols, while others come down to where a character sits and what their personality is like.

Skygazers is a new gathering place aboard Disney Believe, the fourth ship in Disney Cruise Line's Wish class. The space is designed to feel like a vintage astronomer's library, with dark leather furniture, rich woodwork and celestial decorations all around.

The concept art centers on an elaborate zodiac display filled with characters from Disney and Pixar films. Unlike some of the ship's other new lounges, Skygazers is not built around one particular Disney movie.

Several of the zodiac matches are easy to make. Simba represents Leo, the lion. Ferdinand is an obvious candidate for Taurus, the bull. Nemo and Marlin fit Pisces, the fish, as a father and son pair.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum show up together for Gemini, the twins, which feels like the most natural pairing in the whole display. Joy lands on Libra.

Tinker Bell is the most interesting one. She appears near the Scorpio constellation, and her passionate, sometimes jealous and quick tempered streak lines up with several traits traditionally linked to that sign.

We will be curious to see whether Disney confirms the full character lineup, or whether guests are left to discover the connections on their own. Zodiac dates, by the way, follow the usual Western astrology ranges and can shift slightly from year to year.

Walt Disney Imagineering senior creative director Kevin Thomas explained the idea in a video released after the reveal. He described an observatory library with dark leather furnishings and woodwork, inspired by Disney's recurring themes of wishing upon a star, hope and optimism.

The Imagineering team picked stories tied to those themes to shape the pub's identity. The result is a room where guests can find Disney connections throughout the astronomical artwork, including that playful take on the zodiac.

Inside, Skygazers should feel like an astronomer's laboratory. Expect towering bookshelves, astronomical instruments, celestial maps and nods to classic Disney stories throughout.

Guests can catch live sports broadcasts or settle in under the celestial decor. The menu includes custom made craft brews, specialty cocktails and light bites.

Disney also shared an image of a celestial drink presentation. It features a spherical vessel with a constellation design, and it looks like a fun one for photos.

Each Wish class ship has its own themed pub, and Skygazers continues that tradition with a different atmosphere from the ones before it. It is a design that rewards guests who take their time and look around.

Disney Believe's maiden voyage is scheduled for December 18, 2027. The ship will sail four and five night Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bookings open October 19, 2026.

Skygazers is one of several new lounges announced for the ship. It joins the Wishing Well, inspired by Snow White, and Sea Notes, a piano bar inspired by The Little Mermaid. Cruise fans have plenty to explore before the first sailing.
