Six Flags Over Georgia Launches DC Heroes and Villains Fest This Summer
The nighttime event transforms the park into Gotham City with live shows, character meets, and a story where guests choose between heroes and villains.
Six Flags Over Georgia is bringing DC Super Heroes and Super Villains to life with a new nighttime event called DC Heroes and Villains Fest. The festival runs on select nights from July 11 through August 2, turning the park into an interactive Gotham City experience with live performances, stunts, and entertainment throughout the evening.
The event follows a story that puts guests right in the middle of a battle between heroes and villains. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Robin arrive to celebrate with guests, only to have their event crashed by a villain breakout led by Lex Luthor, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. From there, chaos takes over as villains cause trouble throughout the park while heroes try to restore order.
Rather than just watching from the sidelines, guests become citizens of Gotham City and can choose which side they support. The festival includes live shows with stunts and effects, themed dance parties, character meet and greets, special food and drinks, and performances where the audience is encouraged to participate and react to what's happening around them.
Most of the action takes place in the park's existing Gotham City themed area, which is already home to several DC themed rides and attractions. Those rides will be operating during the event alongside all the new entertainment, giving guests the chance to experience coasters in the dark while the festival unfolds around them.
Six Flags created the festival in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, bringing together actors, stunt performers, dancers, and effects teams to tell the story across multiple segments throughout the night. Each part of the event is designed to advance the overall plot while keeping guests engaged with music, comedy, and live action moments.
The best part for guests is that DC Heroes and Villains Fest is included with regular park admission, Season Passes, and Memberships. No separate ticket is required to experience the event on nights when it's offered.
